UT......BLAH! :whip:
Although, I'd have to say that college station is possibly one of the most boring locations to ever stay at......Austin definitely has the party scene in TX...... thats right, BETTER THAN HOUSTON AND DALLAS......... |

alright alright...the definitive word right here!
im FROM boulder, and currently attend ann arbor...being from minnesota i honestly cant see why youd want to stay in the midwest. boulder is unevquivocally the , and unless like me you grew up there, you are missing out. think of madison NOT in wisconsin, or ann arbor WITHOUT the NYers and ugly chicks and you have Boulder- plus theres 300+ days of sun per year, a major problem here.
other than that, CU is only a decent school so if you have stringent academic reqs or reason to go somewhere else do so. but for sun, skiing, a good time, and a good education id say boulder. im just not allowed to go there cause i grew up there. well im allowed but its a little old for me...cant wait to go back.
oh yeah and if you need a good school with questionable weather, a lack of smoking beauties and people that consider you equal - come to beautiful A2. of course its not that bad, ann arbor is a nice place and being from the midwest its prolly fine for you - just completely different from boulder! mmm...summer...late/
oh...and as for TRANCE in both these places...its getting bigger and bigger in CO and pretty established, lots of raves and clubs but not gigantic yet. MI on the other hand has NOTHING...sure we are a little closer to the big TO, but beyond that youd better like pop or detroit techno ALOT!! |

| I'm in 3rd year at York U in Toronto as well, it's alright. :) What irks me is all the people (ginos/ginas ahem...) that come to school dressed up like they're goin to a club. Wat's with that? It's SCHOOL!! lol Anyway, there's a bit of variety, but most people listen to hip hop, dance (some cheeze), bit of everything. I know some of dj's at the pub's so it's not too bad...they throw in some trance every once in a while (when I request it) :) |

biznology: i dont so much mind being in the midwest, id love to go to boulder. i go there A LOT for races and lie that, and yes, its en beautiful. my decision is, in reality, between madison and boulder. i love both schools, but madison is way less expensive and a "better" school. whatever either way ill be happy, i just wanna get outta here and off to the next chapter of my life.

yeah ive only been thru madison for a short while and my dad says its the only other really comparable city to boulder...yeah the academics are prolly a little less as good. i just chose ann arbor as a way out of boulder, but now see the reason boulder is so popular - its awesome 30 mins W and you are in the middle of the mountains, 30 mins the other way you can be in Denver - with the little hippie/yupiie commune in between. strange! late/ |
