Is it to mnake a thread and point out specific examples? is it to read specific books, fiction or nonfiction/textbook? I dunno, but id like to know incase I wanna elarn another language beside english and piglatin. |
I like the way you learn Danish. You learn what words I teach you and make up the rest! Qa?

My opinion is that the best way to learn a foreign language is a mix between knowing the basics ( which you can get through school and books ) and having real contact with the language be it passive or active; anything helps.
Contact is through any form of audio and/or visual content, which people have previously mentionned in the other thread.

I guess I am making an opinion of the aussie accent a little too much because of Emmalina :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: !

im most comfortable with mm.dd.yy, but if i had to think up a date format for use in some new place where people didnt know about dates, i would opt for the dd.mm.yy. |

I think this is a great idea for a thread, but to be perfectly honest, I think a majority of the non-native English speakers use better grammar than the native English speakers in the CORe.
But then again, if I can be of any help, I'll certainly try!
EDIT: You could also make this kind of an exchange thing -- I know a lot of English speakers want to learn other languages as well. Maybe have English speakers correct English grammar in a foreign language? Probably wouldn't work as well as it could, since there are limits to how many foreign languages we all know, but would be a cool idea. |
