Guvs b'day in October should be a techno night

Bring in Cox, Liebing, Bailey, Varela, Hawtin, Secret Cinema, Umek and Valentino, Clarke, and Mills (or any combination of 2-3 thereof). I know Preach's name is going to come up, but he just doesn't impress me the way he does alot of people on here.
Feel free to add any name you want. My idea is to just let it be known how much we need a strong internationally-represented techno night. And the b'day weekend in October has been techno-themed in the past. We know decision makers read these boards. |

yup. I agree. I want a mix of techno though - different room like different type of techno. [hard techno, minimal, wonky techno]
We have enough local dj's to fill up those rooms... imagine how many international artists there are out there.

| I love techno so don't get me wrong. But why would guv chose to make it an all techno event? When most of their regular clientele is there for trance and house. That is like a slap in the face to the regulars. They could just dedicate one room to techno and I highly doubt it'll be KH or main room. They'll prolly do the usual thing and throw in a techno DJ or two into the mixed lineup. |

YES PLEASE! They already ruined GG this year by not including a room of techno :whip: I was extremely pissed off. They better not do the same for Guv 10 year. My wish list:

speedy J and Liebing are amazing together.. DEMF, you guys all should have come :p
GG was a complete letdown with not having any techno, but whatever.. the less techno there is in this city, the less money I am going out and spending on travelling to Toronto so it works in my benefit. Come next year, I will be in Holland and I will get to see these dj's play consistantly but it would be nice to have some other larger techno nights for sure :) |
