its from the game noisy pillars, subtune 2, not sure if its a game or not but the original definately came from a games console, the commodore 64
oh and im going to a do a tribute to the late edwin van santen as well who passed away on the 24th may 2006 from cancer, so im going to remix his pcw tune and amtrak. my ur soul rest in peace edwin. |

| This one isn't nearly as good as Tribute Part 2, I like the strings, have a William Orbit Track Ferry Corsten Remix feeling to it, but the main melody, just doesn't appeal to me. |

| 524 version . I love the pad along with the low frequ filtered lead. then at 30 secs. it just sounds too commercial trance for my taste. the synth is very clean and it all the mastering seems in order, which is something that breaks my balls when doing it for my tracks. 056... i would lower the freq back on the lead synth,... and add a delay to the new synth. i think by 1 52 you over abused the melody too. i think the nice break with the bass should come sooner... and without percussions... and some distortional effects on it. Yeah... the percussions are also a little over used. 3 14... good some rest from the percussions. and that is a nice synth. but you should edit its controls to mutate it a little as you play it (and again all in my opinion and the voices in my head agree). i would also would have liked a monophonic segment on it with full bast percussions.... meaning no melody... maybe a constant note with the bass and the lead. that is pretty common in todays trance... probably coz they get lazy with melody prodcution and need to fill in some time. but it offers an easily produced variation to tracks that have a strong melodic background like yours.... mainly to not abuse the well worked melody youve done. |
