I got Involver whilst I was back in the UK a few weeks ago. Great CD :D Certainly worth the £4 I paid for it at HMV!

Involver shows that Sasha is more than just a DJ (indeed, it makes the term disc jockey something of a misnomer in the context); it shows straight up musicianship. He's literally making new songs out of the old ones. Every song is a remix.

He also has 6 geniuses in the studio helping him do all this. Great CD nonetheless.

So he used an engineer or 4... I wouldnt expect one guy to be able to do all that. It's almost NEVER just one guy.

Of course, no one's claiming otherwise (at least I'm not). We're just clarifying about all the cogs, wheels, and sprockets that make up the machine that is Sasha!

:)

At the end of the day, for the most part "Sasha" albums = Alexander Coe & Charlie May (& friends!) collaborative efforts.

Look at anyone's album, there's usually wayyyyy more than just 4 or 5 people who were involved in the sound part of it.

We have no idea how much or how little any of them are involved in the actual creative process and there's a high likelihood they are only involved with the highly technical aspects-

So I prefer not to judge.
