Well said.:) Can't necessarily argue when you back yourself up with facts but I still disagree. We'll see when the leafs hoist the cup what the verdict is. |

doesn't matter, the habs will always be the enemy in my books.
as for them beating boston, in a way i hope they do so we can hopefully enjoy a toronto/montreal series this year

I love this anti-leaf thread (thanks zarathustra!). If you're not a Montreal fan and you hate the leafs then you must think the Leafs will win this year.
You know the Leafs are playing well and they have the best shot out of all the Canadian teams to win the cup. Why playa-hate?
We should just be happy that 4 Canadian teams (who can, with the exception of Toronto, barely stay in the NHL due to the high cost of running the franchise) have made it and they're all playing well (especially Vancouver - it's hard to believe they're the same team).

woah , woah, back up. Kaberle and McCabe play most of their minutes against the other teams top lines , which is precisely why his +/- isn't the grgeatest. For his age, Kaberle is as good of an offensive contributor from the blue line as you could hope for. He's calm, keeps his head up and makes beauty passes. He held out for the first quarter of the season and still managed a 40 point season (close enough). like the other guy said, just watch him play one game, and see the plays he's capable of making then you'll know why he's a hot commodity. Mats Sundin was 4th in the nhl in scoring this year, and had a +6. Can't knock Kaberle for only having a +5. Look at Edmonton; Todd Marchant, a defensive specialist +6, Anson Carter, a top forward +5, Ryan Smyth, +7. The Kaberle sucks because of his +/- rating is bogus. Kaberle and McCabe is the best defensive duo in the game at the moment. They compliment each other so well. Ones a rusher with slick passes, the others a heavyhitter with a heavier shot (17 goals). They're playing 26+ minutes a playoff game. |

Very true sebby...this is your thread but I think it's time to end it. It's really not going anywhere anymore. We all know the Leafs are a good team and there was only a few people who spoke up and expressed their hatred so just let it be... :D |
