I guess I assumed that a place called the "Chill Out Room" on tranceaddict.com/forums was a place for people to joke and not have to worry about being labeled or judged since almost everyone is a stranger. I had no idea people would look at my posts and relate them back to me as a mom and my son.

No, I wasn't talking about those "slutty girlfriend" type of comments. I can totally see how people talking about your child would totally throw you out of wack. I can't even imagine what that would be like.
But there's got to be a point where you just stop subjecting yourself to it, because it's so negative- I would find it hard to believe if you didn't take some of those comments seriously.
If I was you I would have put those people on ignore and not have even bothered opening the thread again.
