British Columbia or Ontario would probably be best. B.C. has mountains and a lot of nature, whereas Ontario has Toronto and the mass population.
Which one would be easier to attain a job.. I dunno. |

Yup, Saskatchewan is the suck.
If you're looking for a major city Montreal probably has the lowest cost of living and is without question the coolest city in Canada. Very relaxed and lots of to do.... but you have to learn how to tolerate the French. Toronto is a good second place... it's larger then Montreal but not as much fun (we Torontonians are kinda boring compared to Montreallers). Vancouver has the best weather but it's expensive as hell. Calgary is also a nice place but also very expensive.... that said it's a boom town now so there are jobs everywhere. |

I'm giving it a 5 month trial next summer. I love Canada, i've walked accross Nova Scotia and i've been to Toronto 3 or 4 times. I just think Toronto might be a bit big to start with. Maybe something smaller then move on.
Anyone have a spare room next summer, plus a place to store my rope and axe collection? |

| Or you could come live in a small city like Barrie, which is clean and the people are friendly, has tons of job opportunity, has affordable housing, is only 40 minutes from Toronto, and an hour from cottage country. Lots of good pot here too. |

anyone with 2 feet and a heartbeat can get a job in calgary right now, i know of a few people who are doing landscaping and and being paid under the table. The cost of housing is beyond RIDICULOUS! and the cost of living is pretty bad too. Otherwise, there is lot's to do and you are only 45min from the mountains, oh and it would take you 4 hours to drive to the saskachewan border from calgary if you wanted to see your family... but you probably don't because they are from saskachewan.
just kidding, saskachewan needs love too. |
