Heey everybody,

I've been producing a lot lately since ideas just don't stop coming. Here is a new deep progressive track...

Mark Elgan - Deep Symphony [STREAM] [DOWNLOAD] SAMPLE!!

ALL COMMENTS AND CRITICS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME!

PS: I've been wondering if I could give it a shot with labels? Do you know any good labels with similar music?

UPDATE: You can only download the 160kbps sample, since labels are interested in this track :)

What can I say ? I like what I am hearing, if you don't know it I AM A VERY BIG FAN OF DEEP BASS SYNTHS so if you got one those in your track this means it has passed my quality test. ;)

Seriously, even though it's not my type of Trance but I still love the track, this track has a very nice touch to it. It has a dab of chill Trance and a whiff of Old school to top it off and some spacey / futuristic tunes thrown in for a good measure, keep that beat going :D

I am not usually into progressive, it gets me to sleep frankly, but this one seems pretty nice and has a nice theme or drive to it . Professionally produced as well
Mark Elgan
Thank you both for your comments!!

DJ BERKAT: Hehe, yeah I like these synths too..soo driving!! I am really glad that you like the track..

erdega: Well, I wanted the track to be a bit different than all the other progressive tracks and give it something extra from other genres to spice it up...I guess i succeded ;)

Anyone else with comments, suggestions?
Lancaster
I don't know what to comment on because I've never produced progressive (although I like it) and can't find any 'mistakes'
I can only say that I love your work because of the beautiful driving atmosphere. May I ask you from what other genres you've taken your ideas? 'cause it sounds to me like an 'unique' progressive track... perhaps a bit influenced by Markus Schulz' sound, especially the deep sweeping bass

EDIT: According to your last question: Try to send it to Coldharbour Records... 'cause I find the atmosphere in your track a bit comparable to Markus Schulz' works... But I don't have any knowledge about labels, it was just an idea.
Mark Elgan
Thank you for your comment Lancaster and I am really glad that you like the track! Yes of course I was influeneced by Markus (I think we all are :) ), other than that I tried to put some chill sounds in the track and more trancy percussion...

But mostly it is progressive of course ;)

Anyone else's thoughts on the track, labels?

I like the subtle pads in the intro.

The kick feels really weak next to that bass. I'd like to hear more balance in that area.

I approve of the atmosphere and ambience, though.

It's pretty standard, though, layout-wise. You could do with some originality in that arena.

Heya Mark :)

Very nice track you've got here, it's great!
It has a good atmosphere :)
I love the synth that's introduced @~1:40, it's awesome :)

About the kick, i think it's kinda thin, maybe some more low frequencies?

Maybe you could spice the main lead up abit with another lead with a similar melody on top of it before it ends, that would be cool :)
Something to make it more original... As thoughtlessjex said, it's very standard.

Great work, very good produced!

hey mark.

nice 320 share here. the sound appealed to me:)

i liked your bassline a lot and the overall groove/sound. no complaints about the mix from what i hear. the track didnt really catch me but it was enjoyable to listen and i can imagine spinning this as an early track in a mix or set..

Thank you all for your comments, I am currently talking with the Hunya Munya Records and this track is very likely to be signed with one of their sub labels :) I am sooo happy since (hopefully) this will be my first sign...

Comments on this track are still very welcome ;)

This is sweet. My first impression was that it sounded like something Markus Schulz would play. I don't have anything negative at all to say. Keep up the good work dude.

Hey, this is really good stuff :) The bassline works perfectly and the atmosphere you've created on top is nice + spooky, as it should be. The melody sounds quite interesting and has a nice synth sound. I don't think the kick is too thin, because the bassline holds up the bottom end well. Percs sound great, mix is spot on, all together sweet! Congrats on the signing to, that's excellent :D
