Flying was a breeze, no trouble with customs so long as you dont bring any liquids, or pastes.... for you ladies, you know how much it sucks to go 13+hrs w/o makeup... haha SUCKS. I steppe don my BA 767 flight, only to find they had upgraded me to first class without me having to pay... haha !(free booze, 3 course meals, huge seats, tv and movies on demand and video games) HOW COULD I SLEEP!? I arrived monday morning and my cell phone wasnt picking up a service provider... I thought that would pass quickly, but instead it just didnt pick up. I figured out the 'tube' within the first 15mins of arriving and made my way across london to the east side to be with my cousin. He stuck around for a bit as he had taken off the morning to be here when I arrived and showed me around the neighbourhood. I was planning on taking a nap for an hour, and then going off and exploring, but I ended up passing out for 4. My cousin is done work @ 6.. so I stuck around, cleaned up his bachelor pad and did some ironing for him (such a good cuz ;) ). When he arrived he jumped in the shower and then we headed out to covent garden for dinner. We did a walk about central london and hit up all the hot spots. If any of you come here, be sure to hit up the millenium bridge and the eye of london right when the sun is setting, its STUNNING.... good suggestion ryry. After dinner we went for drinks with my friend Ian from home and his friend alex. The lobby was really nice and my cousin and I were totally fatigued by 10:30. We thanked the boys and headed back home for the evening. (Imagine in literally a 30x30ft space, 3 people living... thats what it is in my cousins apartment (but i got the bed!! woohoo!!!) ahha. Today I am meeting with ian and alex for lunch and then hitting up the steets of oxford and bond ;)
