LOL... off Bas. I happen to believe the same thing...but when a guy like Dr. Phil is preaching it everyday on t.v., well I like to give credit instead of passing it off as an original thought. |

| If I am with a guy, and he doesn't make sure that I am "taken care of", I of course get highly irritated, and it's likely I wont return for seconds. |

i just kinda realised that if a guy had something like a pocket ...or a blow up doll...people would probably think he was a complete loser and couldn't get laid. but with girls...socially dildos and vibrators are pretty accepted...
just an observation :p |

No, it hasn't been cloud 9 the past 8 years. Our relationship has had ups and downs, which is why it's still going strong.
And yes, I HAVE been in that position..with my first boyfriend. He was madly in love with me up till the point someone else caught his eye. He started going on dates with her while we were still together. And yes, when I found out, I dumped his ass.
You don't have to believe me. But that's just how I am. I'm a strong person and I always stand up for my needs and what I feel I deserve. I'm not some weak-willed who stays in an unhappy situation. Life is the result of the choices one makes...and I've always taken responsibility for my happiness. And life has thrown me a lot of . I don't see why I would change now. |
well good for you. i am a strong person myself who loves and respects myself as well, and i know i deserve the best, but i'm also guilty of "holding on to something that isn't there" when things start to go sour. but i only do that for about a month or two before i'm like, "ok this isn't working, peace out". i guess that's just my stubborness. i usually like to try and give it that one last shot when things go bad, but i find that i'm the one giving 110% in the end, and i'm pulling for the 2 of us, and that's when i reach the point where i'm fed up and i bail.
it's just that i dont give up easily when i'm in a relationship. they take work and i always give 110%, through the good and bad. i think that's important and a lot of people just want to end things at the first sign of trouble, but they don't realize that when u work through things together, that's what makes you stronger. guys just generally dont know that and don't care....especially guys my age in the their 20's and even 30's. it's sad. |

Mummy's Boy...
In general of course. |

I didn't even read the quote...as soon as I saw "Like Dr. Phil says" the brain cells that ruptured caused me to say what I said :p |

same thing with being bisexual or even bicurious for men. it's more socially acceptable for women to go through that phase, but if men do, they're instantly "gay".
no guy will ever admit it but i think there was a statistic (not the most reliable sources, i know, but whatever) saying that 1 in every 5 guys (i think it was 5, or maybe a little more) has had a sexual encounter in their earlier years like teen or college with another man...just like girls do. it's also very common for men to even think about it with the same sex. it's just a natural curious phase, but it's so "wrong" in the eyes of society.
honestly if my boyfriend told me that in college he had this weird "thing" with a guy and that it quickly made him realize he was straight, i wouldn't even think twice about it. |

Not me, when I was born a male nurse slapped my ass so I shot him. Fag. |

and it is more acceptable for men to sleep with numerous women than it is for women to sleep with numerous men. |
