pay no attention to him! sure, it tastes OK, and pretty damn good for the price, but you will be cheating on your gf, dancing like an idiot to anything with a beat, and develop a speech impediment in no time!

furthermore, my vodka of choice is Absolut for just any day, and when we've got the cash for it, some Grey Goose/Belvedere. i wanna try the Stoli in the weird bottle, i believe it's called Stoli Elit.

Please tell me you're kidding. Absolut is really awful tasting for what it costs. Try Svedka if you like Swedish vodkas and want to spend less than Absolut. I'd also rather have Stoli, Finlandia, Ketel One, the list goes on for vodkas similarly priced to Absolut.

Also, try the Chopin next time you're looking for a more expensive vodka like Belvedere or GG.

well, you have to stop and think that we don't have such a wide variety of vodkas here. first off, all in all, Absolut is pretty cheap here. i mean the near 1L bottle is less than the equivalent of US$20. i don't see that as expensive at all. similarly priced vodkas here are Stoli (which i do like quite a bit) and Smirnoff vodka, which sucks donkey ass in my opinion.

furthermore, i have tried Chopin, once, and i loved it. (gotta love the look of the thin bottle) but i've never seen it sold at licor stores here; the one i chugged was a bottle at a friend's house, hehehe.

but back to Absolut, i seriously dunno why you say it tastes awful :conf:

Good, now I have something new to hunt for.. A bottle of Chopin. Grey Goose (which I'm having at the moment) is fine, but not as special as I expected it to be regarding all the positive comments I've heard.. I've had better.
