Skiing in good ol' USA (pg. 4)

Maybe consider shortening the trip or changing a different time frame to go?

We have a lot of good skiing here in Oregon.

I'd recommend Mt. Hood - Mt. Hood Meadows is the best, Timberline is pretty good (and has a beautiful lodge), and Ski Bowl is mediocre (a bit too low elevation to have great snow usually).

Probably better than Mt. Hood though is Mt. Bachelor in Central Oregon.

I think it's toss up between Utah and Vermont, though I'm tempted to just stick with Utah due to the relatively cheap flights (£380 - £435).

i really recommend VT...the people here are amazing, and everyone has such a down to earth charm to them (i've never been to Utah, i'm sure it's a wonderful place as well). if you want to venture out of your resort, burlington is a really cute "city" as well. true, there is not much to do here...but montreal is UNREAL and it's a short trip up (less than an 1.5 hours) and has a phenomenal edm scene...imo :)

azia/caela - yall should come chill with some of us when we do our VT trips. More than welcome to stay and do the cabin thing with us.

come and visit me in burlington while you're here! great bars...although i'm underage :(

i can't believe you are even comparing VT to Utah. Utah has by far the best snow in this country.

Alos, how has California not been mentioned in this thread?

By the way, Brian, you better get your ass out here this winter!

from what i gather, you can't compare west coast skiing to east coast skiing...totally different terrain...

exactly... i love boarding on ice.

We'll see about preformance hahaha fock I can't wait to snowboard as for visiting burlington while in Killington, I guess if we get a night off and there is a place that plays EDM, then maybe it's worth the drive to burlington lol. You are welcome to our killington house, of course there will probably be decks and stuff at the house we are going to be in so we'll bring our own edm =P

I've been looking at flights for the 26-2nd or 27th-3rd. Still haven't found anything decent but I will definitely need your help once I solidify the plane tickets. You are definitely on my list for this trip =P We shall board!

There's just something about ripping through untouched pow that killington doesn't have to offer lol...especially the roped off areas in Utah, I was all about that

And we all know Sal loves ice....what a wonderful sound isn't it hahah
Caela
i love the sound of skis on ice...tho it totally s them up. if u have to classify them, it seems like east coast = more technical skiing while west coast = more endurance, amiright?

there is only one edm event that takes place weekly in burlington, called Sunday Night Mass...it's pretty sweet...but i wouldn't say it's worth coming all the way from Killington for.

tables, eh? hm...i've never been to killington so sounds like a partayyyy :)
