View this Thread in Original format

you'll find it on my site at: http://www.djbooster.net/index.php?...apper&Itemid=38

I tried to gather all info I got from here (from Dave's perfect kick thread) added my own knowledges and made some screenshots etc...:-)

hope you'll find it usefull and if you do please leave me some feedback! :)

Hopefully you'll find some guidelines that will make your bass and kicks sound better together.

One more thing...I want to make a tutorial about understanding scales and deriving the easiest chords from them...anyone interested? ok cya around ;)

P.S.: I thought it's time to share...instead of only taking :-)

I just tried your settings in FL and I like it. Only thing I feel is that the 8:1 ratio and the attack are too much on the kick. My kicks suck on the low end because they have no power, but maybe it's because my ratio is normally around 3-4. I'm going to try the eq your tried and see what happens.

hey, I just checked and my ableton has a DXi folder in plugins...not sure if it's really what it's supposed to be! Might be just my messed up folders!

But ... waves comes with the WavesShell...it's a VST plugins that kinda does wrapping of waves dxis into vst...do I still make sense? I'm after a gig and kinda...drunk :-)

hope you forgive me...

glad to see you like it all:-)
There will be some fixes you might want to check soon :-)
