a very solid night of tunes. got there a little before 11 - the place never got rammed but damn the music was good.

chris dropped a sweet last track that aaron looped or something and did this really loooong smooth mix into.. well - aarons style, chuggy proggy electro.. by the middle of his set i knew the minimal korhan had planned to spin would play perfectly after mossey..

korhans set compensated for the low bass - really wicked funky dark minimal bombs.. it's not everybodies cup of tea but it had Crib & I moving.. honestly i would've loved to hear it on sonics' system..

ray was a little apprehensive about spinning after korhan, but he passed the test.. first tune strobe light, not sure what mix.. BOOM - from there he built up a nice proggy/tech'ish big room set.. a zeppelin tune, other awesome tracks which i hope ray will remember ("tristan, did i spin this tune already?" LOL), i know Crib & Sean are hoping for tracklists from everyone..

thumbs up boys..

I wanted to make it out to this one but had to be out of town last night... glad to see it was a good night!

Korhan is one crazy M*&#er F*&#er. That first track with the submarine ping was ridiculously dark.

Great sets delivered by all the DJs.

Looked for you so I could say goodbye Tristan and assumed you had already left when I could find ya...but looks like I missed ya. hugs.

i think all the dj's delivered a great set last nite and I am glad people enjoyed the unusual twisted dark sounds but just like tristan said "We need more sub bass to feel that biznitch"

all in all probably the greatest wednesday i ever experienced at beba - than again maybe i was so drunk that i was seeing doubles of everybody in there

thanks for the support guys - wicked turn out

and ummmm angelgirl you can't escape the submarines :D

I definately needed a night like this on a Wednesday. Got there close to 11, and I was happy to see how dead it was. Thursdays are ridiculously rammed and I just wanted to dance up in my own little world for once, even if it was completely empty.

Couldn't make it for Irgo's set unfortunately, but I'm glad I made it in time for Aaron Mossey. I always try to make it to every set of his because he is just that great. He always drops those sweet, techy electro tunes that always brings out my electrosexuality. :happy2: There's a huge difference between Aaron and the regular bunch of Toronto locals who always play at Guv...They overplay their stuff; You'll hear the same songs all the ing time. Aaron plays those non-commercial ,real electro tunes that no one else plays. I seriously encourage everyone to check him out; this guy can mix, and he knows his stuff (with some help from Heidi too haha.)

Korhan went on at approximately 12 am, and I didn't know what to expect. When I heard those clicks, beeps, blips, and bops, I wanted to go up there and hug the guy! Everyone knows that I love my minimal techno. No...I LOVE it with capital letters. lol. For one hour, it was purely sensational. Most of the tunes were new to me, and I really liked that. I couldn't stop my body from going nuts! Once you pop, you can't stop...haha..no..I was completely sober per usual :P Mixing was pretty good; noticed only one small mistake that happened because I think Korhan got a little bit too excited...speeding up a song wtf :)
TUNES! So many good ones, and when I heard The Knife - We Share Our Mothers Health (Trentemoller Remix) I couldn't help but go absolutely mental. Tristan, it was so fun to be the only ones going nuts to this stuff.

Ray played his usual stuff which was awesome. Again, some very awesome bombs dropped. Mixing was flawless, and the tunes got me dancing again. There will be no standing for me! Unfortunately I had to leave after 30 minutes, but not before hearing a really amazing proggy tune.

Good Wednesday times....went home satisfied for the night. But I have one HUGE request:

TRACKLISTINGS!! Especially from Korhan..I will be your best friend/#1 fan lol.

Good times were had. I couldn't stay too long, but I will be back at Beba again for sure. Great place to go mid-week.

glad to see that my favorite EDM term has stuck. I love being an electrosexual. I just searched for "Electrosexuality" on Google and this was in the top 10 listings... www.myspace.com/cribblets . LOL.
