Hopefully My Future Clothing Line
View this Thread in Original format

Okay, I expect the usual CoRe posts (emo, scene, designers are homosexuals, etc.) and on top of that, the post that would more than likely follow immediately after this one containing all of those examples just to spite me.

Anyways, I'm hopefully going to launch this clothing line eventually. I just want to know what people think of my designs so far.

I'm also not a master at Photoshop, so some of these might not be exactly what they'd look like.

The brand is called Bastard Pop, after the nickname given to Mash-Up music. The wreath with the BP and the winged skull are the two logos.

^The full design on the second one, as it wraps around to the back of the shirt.

don't really like the BP logo..but that blue shirt is pretty cool..would be better without the logo. And instead of black in the collar and sleeves, make it white.

id like to see a full print shirt like that blue one, havent seen anything like it. if it's possible to print, that would be omg sik

It'd be quite expensive to make, but possible.

it would be much more classy if you don't advertise the brand all over the shirt

Unfortunately, off the bat, I would have to. Only real way to get the name out there. I need to find a better way to incorporate the logo in there, though.
Danny Ocean
if the designs are cool, it dosen't matter if you have the logo on the shirt..if you must have one maybe on the side of one of the sleeves or at the bottom of the shirt in a corner.
Try to make your logo like some cool character, like the wings..two small wings and thats it, no letters.

That said, you have some really nice designs, but personally i hate shirts that advertise the brandname..kinda like most A/X clothes with the brand all over.

Ever heard of Z Brand or Salvage shirts? from L.A?
Theyre limited designs and they used recycled fabric. They have awesome designs but the brandname is only in the tag inside the shirt.

That's exactly the thing, though. How many people know of/wear Z Brand and how many people know of/wear A|X?

I totally agree with you on the preference, however, the name needs to get out if there's any real chance for success.
Danny Ocean
only the people who really know their . That's the beauty of it. I like the skull and the wings..that should be your only logo.

Indeed. :)
Synchronicity
The hoody looks like a nappy,

I don't like the first t-shirt, white with pink on doesn't work for me (looks like faded red). The design on the left (as you wear it) would be covered by your arm so people would just see little 'bits' of random stuff.

The second t-shirts OK but only bold people would wear it, so sales are limited right there.

The third t-shirts' design again would be distorted when worn. And the moon being sick on a beach? I don't get it, I wouldn't get it.

The fourth t-shirt, I dunno.

The fifth t-shirt. :stongue:

'I want something good to die for to make it beautiful to live.'

I'm sure that's on my grans' Jesus 2006 Calendar. Reminds me of an 'I Love Mum' Tatoo on a 6ft 5 - built like a tank gangster.

I'm not a prick, I just NEVER LIE when someone asks for an honest opinion on their art/design.
