I would say the only one that is even close to being a "classic" at most is gouryella - gouryella
I like tiesto, and his sets are great, but it is obvious that pvd's productions are better and none of tiesto's productions will come close to pvd's for an angel.
As far as mixing, yes, its wrong and quite stupid to say "tiesto cant mix" but it is obvious pvd's mixing outdoes tiesto's mixing by far.
But nevertheless, i cant wait till i see both of them spinn'n it up at Ultra!!! |

PVD's productions are boring and all sound the same, and for an angel may be a classic, but all his other productions aren't.

first of all, gouryella certainly is a classic as well as endless wave!! and most of you pvd addicts keep on hammering that tiesto's productions will never get close to for an angel.. but i would like to say, did he do some REALLY good productions after that, because i know tiesto did!!
and i agree with you that pvd is a better mixer then tiesto.. no arguing there! :) |

I'm even not an absolut mega fan of PvD !
My fav artist are Blank & Jones, Kai Tracid or DJ Mind-X ! That's not PvD's style...
I liked Gouryella's tracks, don't worry...
I just wanna say that Tiesto is not the best like 90% of people think here...
And i've seen that most people who love Armin or Tiesto are NOT listening to trance for a long time (i mean 3 ou 4 years). And so, they only know these artists they listened to when they began in trance... |

Dood, like i said, i'm not trying to hammer tiesto here... dont get me wrong i think the guys productions are awesome, and i like tiesto very much. But it is just so true and u cant hide the fact that For an angel is one of the greatest if not the greatest trance track ever.
Flight 643 is a fun track to play at a rave, but come on. That track has no work in it. It will never mount up to a pvd track.
