Best of luck mate.

Sorry to hear your leaving the scene, but it does sound like you need a break, 20 years is a long time, and I'm sure most people would be after that long, I have only been DJing for about 12 years and I have burnt out a couple of times, once for how the scene changed and the the second one for realizing I wanted to change my genre/style, the scene has changed alot since I have been with it, and I'm sure its changed a hellava lot more for you, if there is any advice I could give you that you don't already have, it would be not to sell your gear, but get away from the scene and alot of the music, you will then find out what you want.

Best of luck in whatever route of life you decide to take, I hope this at least doesn't mean you will be shy to the Booth, as you are a huge help to so many DJs on here including myself, I do think you have made a good choice though as family is the most important thing.

Best of luck, have fun in India.:D

Good luck in pursuing a different path. You've always been nice to us here! Keep us updated on your productions also. California Jailbreak was insane!

You can count on the fact then when I set aside a week of my life to read through the harmonic mixing thread, you'll be the first person I'm asking for advice.

It may sound Funny, but Nem has always been a huge inspiration to me and has really kept me spinning. Just like I know everyone here has done, when Nem posted, every word was followed and taken to heart.

It was always a breath of fresh air to have an experienced and knowledgeable and most importantly FRIENDLY AND OPEN person to share what they had to say to a bunch of newbies posting "Which Numarks Should I Buy?!", even if it was something of a ridiculous thread like that.

Thanks Nem, your words here are unreplacable

Good for you that you're moving toward accomplishing the other things you want to do with your life. I've read plenty of your posts on this forum, and I just wanted to say that you've had some great insight and advice to people that I as a crappy noob DJ have enjoyed immensely. Enjoy.

I always hate to see or hear about this but good luck to you. :)

As a person who is new to the scene, I can understand where you're coming from and wish you luck in future endeavors.

It's a shame when that time comes but I hope that in your mind what you will be doing now will mean you're moving on to bigger and better things :)

Best of luck mate. Everything has been said by everyone, so I'm not gonna repeat it all, but enjoy whatever life brings you after this!

I'm not in the least bit surprised, and understand what you mean 100%.

I share the exact same viewpoints as you, and quiete frankly, i think Djing will be completely different, or perhaps even non-existant in 30 years from now.

BTW, I love every single track that i've heard on ur list (top 5), and will try to listen to the others :D. Damn.. wish i could've heard u play.

Best of luck, and I respect your decision.
