Groove sax track, made for moving a floor, still being tuned but this IS the main Idea :)

Groovy club track, very simple yet effective.
called grapjas (dutch for someone who makes jokes.. there's alot of production humour in the track :p)

For évery track, I'd like to know how I could continue, and what you like about it and what you absolutely don't!
and for the last track itself, I'd like to know if this would get a floor going or not :) experiment you see ;)

long time no see!
megaman - a nice low bassline will be great and some filthy fat tech sounds in the backgroud to fill the sound out more. with more sounds in there to fill it out more and a low bass the track will feel more complete i think:) also arrange the track so there is more build maybe?
man with a red face - you filthy whore! that bass is massive! i think you should lover the octave of the sax - and add some efx like bitcrush to the sax. -- this has some major potential - wicked drive and a lot of humour in there. great! just dont polish it too much - keep the rawness but get the arrangement spot on - arrangement will be the kep in this. eg - fading the sax in over a really long period will make it get more accustomed to the ear and will build anticipation.
grapjas - this sounds like a b side of a underground techno release. not sure i like it but its quite fun and groovey - interesting percussions and sounds.
looking 4ward to the finals and i hope to see the trac by u in the vgm mix!!!! |

first track, reviewing as i listen.. i like the beats very nice, but the first 1:30 sounds to empty for me, maybe try and fill it with some pads or fx's to fill it up a bit. yeah that melody sounds kind of familar.. why is everybody remixing megaman lately lol:p i like the track except its missing something.. the bassline?
2nd track, haha the title is funny lol, the beginning is kind of 30's.. :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: love that bassline with the kick:eyespop: that oldie synth fits really good! this is why i love Takkra style!:p love that break at 1:12 but still a bit empty, you seem a bit scared of using fx's in your tracks. 1:40 man:eyespop: this track has BIG potential! definatly finish this song!
3rd track, grapjas:p nice beat layers.. love that bleeping effect with the bassline sounds good. love it when the beat kicks in at 1:28 :) im liking all of your tracks except they all miss something.... they have some empty spots that need to be filled... i especially love the man with the red face its unique! pls pls finish that song!
