I did too. Then again, I've never really been the biggest fan of Hernan oddly enough. |
Neither have I, I just liked this one. There was a point when I was listening to disc 2 a few times a week. |

I'd love to hear someone like Lee Burridge, Mark Farina, Desyn Masiello, Luke Fair do a GU soon. |

I don't think Massielo's or Luke's Fair style fit GU. |

| Source? Looks like bs to me. I can't even find anywhere on the net that says who is even doing the next GU. |

| They should let Tiësto mix one. Now that would rock! |

Problem with the GU's, they used to be the only source for a mix cd that wasn't cheese/commercial dance stuff. Now there's so many more options and so many more djs I think it's just hard for them to keep up. Plus alot of djs that used to do GU's now have their own compliations or have just done a compliation for another cd. Sander has his own, Digweed now has his own, Sasha does Fundacion, Hernan and Seaman do alot of the Renaissance stuff and alot of fresh, newer djs go for the compliations that are a little newer (i.e. Balance). So it begs the question, how much longer will Global Underground be around? |
they just really need to reinvent themselves...
they need to dig up some new talents and put out some good discs. there sound has been tired for a while now... |
