The Guvernment's plan to open up ppl's minds to Jungle / DnB is working :p (The traffic jam to get into Skaybar)

Naw I'm jokin':p It's the largest room that's totally out of the way for the main traffic flow, knowing those type of clients ain't gonna change to another room. Having jungle in the organe room in the first Labour of Love was one of the main reasons why the whole place was rammmed and jammed up. Took me 2.5 hrs to get into the Orange room from the KH.

ive been listening to intelligent d&b recently! i was a junglist from 91 (when it was called hardcore). i ended my jungle run around 1994-1995. intelligent d&b was always my thing! once the wobble came into play and the MC's started becoming dominant over the DJ i was like "ok its time to boycott this".

but, as i said, ive been diggin thru my old jungle collection (primarily the intelligent stuff) and it still sounds fresh today!

big thanks to m2j for reposting those livesets.. get them while u can before the sendspace limit runs out.

today i wanna put a spin on things and explore another subgenre sometimes known as breaks & bass or what's pretty much a fusion of drum & bass and breaks. enjoy!

Why couldn't he just STFU during the build? Why? Goddamn, I hate MCs.

(Although I must say he was bearable at this year's LOL)

But still, FREE THE DNB DJs FROM THEIR MC COUNTERPARTS!

I use to be like that many yrs ago ... but, I went to a few parties with headlienrs w/o MCs. It was pretty boring after a while. You really need them. But, recorded live sets or studio mix .... regardless who it is, it's annoying!

GQ is the ! The man knows what to do ... he knows how to hype the crowd up and knows when to shut up. He's a host, not an mc.

Skibadee really hypes up the crowd to the max, but after the first 30 mins, it's really annoying and boring.

Fearless is great but, sometimes ... he's out of the control. Stopping tracks and killing the sets.

Shabba is good, but most of the time he makes no sense at all.

Daddy Earl, the new GQ. Most of us thought it was GQ at first. He has a higher voice ... but, the dude is pretty damn good.

The rest of the millions of MCs out there ... they can burn in hell.
