if most people didn't overdo it on the old sweeties then they would be able to last the night. i was straight as hell, no sweeties and no alcohol - one bottle of water and at least two soft drinks and i only sat down for about 30 minutes. |

You shouldn't be sitting down at all - not for a 6am night.
I didn't sit down once, I only stopped dancing to go to the toilet or get the next round in.
In my experience ecstacy sends you wild for a few hours, but you will need a rest. Too much beer leaves you exhausted. Drinking nothing at all means you can last all night, but it doesn't feel the same. Just the right amount of beer is the best combo for me, but I like all-nighters. Depends what your tastes are at the end of the day. |

they weren't all burnt out, they were resting, which is a very sensible thing to do at a big event like that

cyberbunnie, i agree with you, ppl tend to go just for pillz, but this isnt restricted to the cybers either... a lot of people do go over the top aswell, i prefer not to, restrict myself to 3 pills and maybe a lil speed.. but i go because i love the music. on the other hand the drugs enhance the music, this is why its good.
beer.. its pants for clubbing in my opinion. it doesnt suit me, i dont particularly like the way it makes me feel.
and if u want to talk about stamina, last weekend my mates katie, gaz etc went out from thursday night til sunday night/monday morning. with 2 hours kip. |

I'm not comparing cybers with anyone, you are.
You're comparing pissheads who collapse, one extreme, with people who wear dummies and kiddies bags, another extreme.
I'm saying that the people with the most stamina tend to have beer and tend to dress normally. No that's not Ben Sherman shirts, no that's not dummies in their mouths, which is again, extremes.
Having a rest is only sensible if that's all your stamina allows. Personally, when I see lots of people having a rest, it means less people dancing, which means less atmosphere. The majority of people at Telewest weren't wearing cyber, the majority of the people sitting down were in cyber. Do the maths. |

hey i'm not dissing what people decide to do - at the end of the day it's up to the individual
i've done 'em myself but from having a rest i realised that i don't need pills to enjoy myself, 'cause i can have a better night without them
what really gets me though, is when people say they "can't" go without them and they haven't even tried to go straight for a change. if i compare a night when i used to do pills to a night now, when i stay sober as hell, i know which one i would prefer :D
truthfully i can go a night and get high as hell off the people around me and the music - i've been out on nights with my friends and lasted longer on the dancefloor than any of them just 'cause most of the time they are just too fcuked - some people just don't seem to know when enough is enough, and that bloke who said that thing to me, is a clear example. me and my mates ended up moving away from him 'cause he was that annoying, gurning like hell and if you made any eye contact with him, you were drawn into a 5 minute converstation with him about some bollocks.

To get back on topic, wherabouts in the main arena were you guys dancing? We were near the front, about 15 feet back or so. The best atmosphere looked around there so we headed there. |
