Usually I don't come in forums and reply to threads, but I had to come in this one.
I mean Mr.Mystery is right, i'm giving this music away guys!
And how can you deny the work i done for 6 months to do that?
Especially a forum where i though there were probably more djs than any other forum.
And what does the style change? There's crappy trance and there's crappy rap. But how can you say an whole style is crap!
And bottom line is, we all work with the same equipments! Same monitors, vsts, software, samples, keyboards...
Rap began in 1978, and samplers were so much used by rappers during the 80's, that it made the sampling world expand, and who do you think uses samplers and mpcs, yes, that's right, rap and hip-hop but also electro, d'n'b, trance, techno... Name it.
We probably all speak on kvr-audio forum or any other pro forum and no-one is arguing about style.
You can tell me if u don't like what I do, everybody can have their opinions.
I don't mind listenin to trance or techno when I'm in a club, if the song's good.
Anyway i still got about 100 visits on my website just from this thread so...lol. Talk good of it, talk bad of it, but talk of it.
Thanks dj_alfi for your comments about my flow, my first solo album is coming for 2007, stay tuned!!!! |

well hip-hop exist since 30 years...
It's more than a fashion it's a way of life.
I can agree that right now, and over all the planet, urban music got the control of medias.
You're saying rap is an image thang, well, if classical was the most selling music, kids would listen to it.
But you got about 50% easily of the poeple who listen to hip-hop since years and years, i listen to hip-hop since 10 years old.
It only makes a few years that the hip-hop is REALLY big.
Back then, with beastie boys, dr.dre, cypress hill... it was selling but wasnt the predominant music on the charts.
Rock and alternative was blowin the charts..
And, you say it's an image thing, but what about all the poeple I know, including myself, that put much hope in the music, hip-hop, music that they love, and try to do something else than being in trouble?
Isn't it then a positive thing?
I believe yes myself. If being a construction worker, or writing books, or repairing cars give a sense to your life, then be it.
Rap isn't more easy than any other style to do. It's hours and hours of work to get a good hit song (well sometimes you get best ideas in a few seconds like in any form of creation), but it's hours and hours of mixing, mastering, creating concepts, graphics.
It should get enuff respect. If that music was all bad, all crap, it wouldn't be so much popular.
I know lot of poeple are mad because the style of music they are evoluating in isn't what the record labels are asking for right now, so it's harder to get a living out of it, but we gotta stay objective when we judge something we maybe not know that much. |

And hey i was thinking about that...
I was a fan of dance at around 8-9 years old, I mean, like Mr.Vain Herbie Pick it up, runaway real mc coy...
I mean, i had to mention that.
And hey i was listenin to SFUR in GTA San andreas...
maybe deeeeeep downn i got a few influences that subconsciously i put im my music and then it subconsciouly may touch a string at your hearts.
Let your finger click and download a copy.
U can respond to this one subconsciouly lol.
Now don't come up with stupid replies like, yeah and i could hate your stuff sub consciouly.
I'm also a fan of that 70 show n stuff like that, i can see all them jokes comin. |

Some do, others like the fact that a lot of it's got some really good beats and grooves to the tracks.
Rap wasn't born from people wanting to tell the world that they've "got hoes in different area codes", but from being a form of music you can perform without any instruments, so people on the streets could have their say... of course now all the big artists make such a big deal of how rough it is "in da ghetto" etc but tbh half of that's just trying to look cool and the other half's brought upon themselves from them feeling the need to shoot each other, but originally it was pretty much purely based around the racism and opression of black people and their rights that used to be rife in America - which is a pretty serious matter.
And don't forget that half of the drum samples, vocal samples, stabs etc used in trance, techno, prog, electro, house, especially hard house all originally came from hip hop and rap. |

thx guys for giving a second opinion.
thx for the comment about my hustlin remix.
talkin about hustlin, i think we all are, and wether we like rap or not or techno or not, i mean, we basically all want to live a good life, and wish the best for our friends and families.
There's enough of war and corruption in the world to take care of, let's just all get the paper and work this out!
yo i went to the site, www.ct-productionz.com, but i cant download the videos. am i missing something?

Acebeatz, i have no doubt you love hip hop, and that alot of people do, I just dont think hip-hop deserves to be as popular as it is.
I can honestly say, i strongly dislike it, no wonder though, since every single club in the city plays it, u see it on TV, you hear it on the radio, its all hype, hype, hype.
with that being said, i must say i like some hip-hop, like Ice Cubase, Capeone N Noreaga.. and i think dr.Dre is an hell of a producer.
but the RnB/Rap/Pop combination thats gotten so popular over the years is getting on my nerves, although the JayZ/Linkin Park combination worked pretty well.
And i think people should like the MUSIC, not the "cool" guys in the videos, the violence, or the hot chicks, nor the golden teeth and the hot rides.
just wanted to get that out of my chest. i will download this one and pass it over to some of my friends. |
