Yes I have a page on myspace but only since january 2006. I just found it out.

Yeah I know what you mean about promotion n rep, but I mean, in 2006 we all are on communities, the world is changing, the way to reach labels and poeple is changing.

Poeple can say im nobody cuz i come in forums, well, i got 2 or 3 good offers from one mid-sized label and two big ones.

Nothing to make me a star, but maybe get my foot in the door.

But i still do my thing everyday, and take the time to answers the phone 100% of time, get all my emails and come in forums argue.lol.

I'm like that and i'm on the internet a lot of time, so basically i'm stayin true to myself!

Don't worry if i get popular, i'll be obnoxious and i'll deny the fans lol.

And giving music to the ARTISTS would be perfect, but it's hard to reach them.

Giving it to COMPOSERS would not help me a lot because they live out of making beats, so they would not try to help me as it could make us lose some work lol.

Basically, just do your thing, it will take time, get people that like Rap to notice you, post a lot on forums, network around on myspace, get in contact with people etc. It's a long road with lots of work involved.

Yeah thanks, it's allright let's forget it.

It must have been hard for you to get it, and i'm tryin to do it too.

But i never went over 3 gig a month because i was not really putting energy on promotion before, i was more working in the "real world", but i'm tryin to expand to the world now, so i began to do promotion at the end of august and i have now 150 gig so i changed my server for a big one.

I think ill get my 100,000 this year.

Its clearly to see who the supersaw kiddies are and who are not..

Music is music. Filling an empty sequencer to something that makes people stop for a moment and focus attention to it is an art. You think everyone can do what some of you do? wrong. Your not a fan of hiphop. Fine but guess what i love hiphop as much as trance, techno or jazz and so on.

But on the other side i can understand why people hate hiphop. its lately about money and bitches and nothing else. But EDM has the same thing.

You wanna post on here your R&B mix then fine, I didnt claim to be a mod and say you couldnt. It was all a simple post saying you were posting on TRANCEADDICT is the concept not clear enough?
Anyways, this is my last post on this thread b/c your novels of illogical nonsense make have no intelligent relevance whatsoever.
My first post wasnt to derive haters to start BitchFest 2006 it was a simple statement that you were posting on the incorrect forum. Please forgive me for thinking I was on tranceaddict.com
Peace out!

I don't feel like starting an online fight because it would be just stupid.

You came to tranceaddict.com, it's a place where mostly all music can come together. Yes, at first this place was all about trance but now it has changed and it is more than just related to one genre, people can share anything here. I don't produce trance. I don't produce any sub-genre of trance but I still post my productions here because it's dance music. This is more of a community for dance music lovers and believe it or not they play hip-hop, rap and the whole shibang at clubs and it is considered dance. Though it may not have such a close relationship to the entire DANCE MUSIC family, it still is. He's posting on a correct forum, there really is NO sub-forum on here that states this:

TRANCE Music Producers Promotion

If I read correctly it says:

Music Producers Promotion
This is where you can promote that new track you've been hammering away at for what seems like forever

So ya, by the way, fine work on those beats and tracks you posted. Though I may not be a big fan of rap and hip-hop stuff it's still valuable.

You'd be suprised at how closely related house and hip hop are... The styles originated in the same city... It was Garage when it was in NYC, but still, that's the roots of house-

Good post jupiterone, I think I'll refer people to this if something else comes up.

great beats, really enjoyed the remixes and 'round da world' especially. even though i agree on toning the style of self-promotion down some, you're the man. thanks for sharing :)

Well Dub came over from Jamaica and a lot of dub and hip hop influences went into garage which elvolved into house when it migrated to Chicago.

acebeatz
servers now to 2000 gygabytes

If you want to know where hiphop/rap came from. Listen to old Jamaican records from U-Roy. IN the 60's, he would take dub records and rhyme over them. I don't believe he was the first but he was one of the most popular. Makes sense since DJ Kool Herc, the man crediting for starting hiphop in the Bronx, is of Jamaican descent. It's funny because all my folks are from JA and my frickin' grandmother has old records of dudes rapping about the dangers of selling cocaine.:haha: That's why trying to precisely define EDM is pointless. There too much outside influences and too much branching out.

Question for acebeatz:

Is this compilation clean or radio friendly? Part of the reason I don't listen to rap anymore is because of the swearing. If so, I'll be more than happy help someone on the come-up.
