A magnet CALENDAR will not last long. Once the year is over, people will toss them, or put them somewhere not really visible. I suggest magnets, but ones that are visually appealing, and will not get old.
EDIT: Post it notes are a crappy idea in my opinion. |

As long as your promo items have your website, I think you would be doing a swell job of solidifying a marketing tactic for your brand expansion. Either way whatever the promo product is, you'll be able to reach the eyes with a location for them to find more information.
Also think it's helpful to include a promo item that is relevant to the company and/or branding.
Kinda like having a coffee company but handing out free sodas with your branding on it.
edit-post it notes and "good" pens work well for large distribution...i'd also consider keychains |

in my experience pics of hot women work the best at attracting attention ;) |

What is your business field ?
If we don't know that we won't be able to point out the valid or incongruous nature of the choices you made. |

i like the idea behind both calenders and post-it notes, but i'm just not sure which ones are more effective. i like the idea of the calenders because i could picture myself putting one of them on my fridge, but then again post-it notes could actually be used.. and on top of that, if you write stuff for someone else on a post-it note, now they just advertised your business FOR you...
but then again post-it notes don't stay around long, but magnets could be around for years and everyone who visits your home will see it.
i'm still stuck |

| What is your product? What you wanna advertise? If its not that personal to ask.. |

Yeah, what is your product? There are probably more creative ways to advertise.
Or are these two methods your only option? |
