you would think the politicians in Jersey would go after Hoboken like this

Options are a major reason to live here over most other places in the country. Why can't we just follow Miami's lead with the 24 hour licenses? They've got like 6-8 clubs downtown (Space, Twilo, Nocturnal, etc) that cater to EDM crowds, meanwhile, here in fear mongering NYC, we're closing everything earlier (or entirely) in the name of safety. Maybe curfews is where we should go next.

I would stay away from being on the road after 3am at all cost. If bars and clubs stop serving alchohol at 3am and close at the same time, then a load of drunk ass morans would be getting into their cars and trying to drive home, because there wouldn't be anywhere else to go to sober up! Of course the city revenue would only rise from this new law because the NYPD will be having a field day with check points all over the city. I hate the greedy side of political New York brought on mostly by Bloomberg. If they were thinking of safety first for the public, then a consideration to keep bars and clubs open pass 3am or 4am would be allowed so that the public could sober up before leaving the establishment.

Rent over, I am out on this.

Naw, it's more like welcoming NYC to the rest of USA. I guess A.C. would be left to be the only all nihgt legal drinking/ party city on NorthEast Coast.

Does anyone know of the legalities of Private Social Clubs in manhattan? I am wondering if they are legal and if so can they serve alcohol longer than the standard shut off. After being in Utah, I can see this as a possible avenue too.
