any purchase over 399 dollars is negotiable
Last year i bought two cdj 200s from them and i used that as bargaining leverage. Check them out you can bargain live online and get youself a great steal on anything from mixers to headphones to decks! |
Or, you can just go to www.agiprodj.com and get it for less, without negotiating. |

Based on the comments I've read, the Xone has a "warmer" feel to it with the filters and all that while the DJM-800 can be implemented with CDJ-800 or 1000's for a purely digital sound, which is crisp and clear but not as "warm". |

| How does the Ecler Nuo 4 compare to the X:One? I really want a Nuo 4, but an X:One 32 is around the same price, but I kind of like the MIDI features of the Ecler because I am going to go completely to Ableton in about 4 years and by then do some gigs. I want to eventually do some production and some more sophisticated stuff...and perhaps do lounges that might not a DJ set up. I know I couldn't afford a DJM 800, and that thing has too many buttons....I like things simple yet with enough functionality and features to make it useful, like an Ecler Nuo 4 with the MIDI stuff that I know I'll use in the future. |

I wouldn't pick a mixer based on "ableton" features right now... why? There aren't really any midi controllers out there which are really designed for ableton and DJ'ing in mind. Whatever is in the works with the various manufacturers could really change things. I would pick a mixer based on what you want in a "mixer"... not the controller functionality. Although some of the mixers offer decent MIDI abilities, they are still not designed with ableton in mind.
And when you say X:one, I assume you mean Xone (pronounced, Zone, see the website)... the Ecler definately offers a lot more in terms of features than the 32. I have the 92, and if you're looking at Midi functionality even that doesn't offer a lot.
The DJM-800 is nice, but even that is lacking severely as an ableton controller.
Only the Xone 3D (which is VERY expensive) is really great at being a good DJ mixer and MIDI controller for ableton.

Yeah which is WAY out of my price range. Only want to spend like $750 or $800, and my parents are going to help me out a little bit..it'll be my christmas present. I know they might not right now but in the long run...like in another two to three years, I think i'll have more use for the MIDI features and so it will last me longer. Sure a DJM 800 would be great if I wait possibly another year, but i'de rather buy a new laptop than get a mixer for the same price..or for less. $1,600 is a huge amount for a mixer. |

If you buy a decent mixer in your current price range now, you'll still be able to use it in the future. It's likely that midi controllers will be released in the near future that will pair up well with whatever you choose for a mixer now...
