I want to eventually do some production and some more sophisticated stuff...and perhaps do lounges that might not a DJ set up. I know I couldn't afford a DJM 800, and that thing has too many buttons....I like things simple yet with enough functionality and features to make it useful, like an Ecler Nuo 4 with the MIDI stuff that I know I'll use in the future.

The NUO mixers sound quality is excellent, on par with any XONE mixer. The NUO4 is a great choice and good value, with 4-channels and MIDI....its a great mixer! ;)

So traktor has Xone emulation of some sort, how is that?

"dance virtuoso" it says? Not sure what that means in this situation.

Uh, you mean $1200, for the DJM-800.

Well I've seen it most places either $1,549 or $1,599...so really about $1,600. You might be able to get a used one for that...but not a new one.

Uhm, I hate when people whore out the EFX. How can you listen to ing music like that? It's not even good. Maybe a flange here and there, but Zabiela takes it TOO Far. , play the god damn music.

But I want that J'Adore Le DJ shirt :whip:

:haha: You've been shopping at the wrong places. MAP is $1549. You can get it for significantly less. You can ALWAYS get equipment for less than MAP, from authorised dealers. You just have to shop around. And that doesn't mean browsing through websites. You have to contact the sites directly. They can't advertise for less than MAP, but they WILL sell to you for less.

For example, CDJ-1000mk3s have a MAP of $1299, and list for $1499. I bought them for $1069, brand new, sealed box, with a warranty from Guitar Center.

The Xone:92 has a MAP of $1699. I paid $1400. Etc., etc.

This goes for all DJ equipment. Never pay MAP!

like i said i got it for 1280 including shipping, if you are a shrewd bargainer you can get it for something similar

everything's negotiable
