yes the gators lost by 1,... but still way better than these two
and a measely 1-AA matchup between FSU vs UM....
UCF could/would beat them..
USF now has a year of notority under their belt and they'll be a main stay in the top 25 for years to come now..:) |

really cant agree with the ucf/usf statements. once groethe leaves usf will fail again. they really were not that impressive at all over fiu. and fiu is terrible. |

| Ya and I also don't remember when a 1-AA team had the number one recruting in the nation. Or when they had 3 state Mr.Footballs on one team. One that destroyed all of Tim Tebows highschool records. If you are gonna talk learn your facts. First of all no one expected miami or fsu to do this year you ing lost to ole miss a team that lost to vanderbilt and a highly overrated wake forest team:stongue: a gaytors team that could of easily made a NC run but guess what you'll never have as many championships as miami or fsu so go talk elsewhere. |

such hostility... and check the national championship count for FSU and UF... they are equal so i guess they will have as many as them... my facts are checked... Marve's records lasted 1 year as his backup(aaron murray, junior at the time) beat all his records... he is committed to UGA... (btw, both marve and murray went/go to my high school- doesnt matter but i wanted to throw that in, yes its completely irreveleant)..
and wow.. you all really do play UCF... i really didn't even know that.. ha
and i thank you for having expectations for us expected to make a NC run... i was not under that impression, nor did any of the writers think that either... if the chips fell for us then great but we were never one of the front runners.. in every single preseason poll we were somewhere between 6-10...
and as long as miami is in the dumps they'll just keep talking about the 80's... have fun with that, wake me up when you are revelant and win games instead of talking about recruiting classes and high school records
and also... your belittling UF for the (ing) loss to Ole Miss who lost to Vandy(#19) and WF (#25) is as cool as mentioning the 6-degrees of kevin bacon...
also- how do you define "destroy"? b/c a better term would be "surpassed"... kthks
you took my 1-AA comment way too seriously, maybe you didn't mean it but your tone did...
and for flo - every team has a bad game or 2, vandy just 3 years ago took a solid Meyer led Gator team to double OT in GVille... USF im sure is aware of their QB situation and will have some QB stud from teh state of florida to replace him and now that USF is actually on teh national map their recruiting has just become way easier since they play on national TV and are a national player...
and for both of you - well see how it all plays out... thats why they play the games :D |

Ya looking at your schedule you'll lose at least 2 more if not 3. And I don't know how else I was suppose to take that 1AA remark but I don't really care been a life long miami fan, before I even lived in florida or the US. Florida will always wanna be the next dynasty but they cant hang :p How many BCS wins do you guys have this decade? 1. Miami has 3. National Championships? 2. Miami ? 5.Is florida a good team? Of course. Are they a great team? Hardly. Tim the savior tebow has a starting qb record of 10-5. Hardly impressive. Two out of the past three seasons the gators have lost 4 games. Hardly worth mentioning as of yet. Yeah Florida beat a Miami team stacked full of freshmen starters and a quarterback who had never played a college down in his life until he walked into gainesville. Congrats, you won a game you should have. Keep in mind those freshmen STUNNED and scared the out of the florida fans for 3.5 quarters. Miami has brought in the top recruiting class last season and are set to do the same this year. If you think they arent on their way back up to the top your delusional.
When you have 5 national championships, win 58 in a row at home, and establish the best team in college football history, and year in and year out supply the top talent in the NFL. Come talk to me. |

thank god we didnt lose that towards the end!!! i seriously thought we were gonna lose it last minute and even thought miami was gonna get that touchdown to go up by 2, then fsu would have a chance for a winning field goal and go wide right again. no lie, thats EXACTLY what was going through my head.
but alas, we won. christian ponder is fsu's best running back. :stongue: |
