That was too packed there were a couple of people at times that looked like they were going a mosh pit. Just horrible im never going to DC again, and neithier for Glow. Ever!!
I threw a away $200 shoes they were stepped on BIG TIME and it looked liked I went mudding. |

He plays what he wants when he wants. He played Mind Circus and that is what, a 4 year old song? Its just to give him just because no one has any other on him for this show. Like how people are trashing Morillo because he plays old tracks in his set, so what? The crowd reacts to it in a positive way. |
Mindcircus is a classic not one of the most overplayed tunes of 2005 |

eh im just saying he missed the boat on alot of tracks. He can play whatever he wants. I do give him alot of credit for trying something out of the trance/progressive realm but he's just behind. It's more of a fact that's he's been behind rather an opinion (when you see when the track was released and who else was playing it a long time ago). People who follow dance music alot in general either are of the mindset that it's kinda lame to play something that was so played out last year by MANY djs or you're kind of satisfied with hearing the same music over and over again/really dont have a desire to hear something fresh and new/dont really know whats going on with the rest of the dj world other than a few select trance djs. I like to hear good NEW music vs. old music. This is why I dont really care as much for Sasha now and think his Avalon LA cd is so weak.
Anyway Im glad you guys had fun |

well...dc has a great scene, fur just isn't really one of the best. especially not like a huge trancetastic night like that one. WAY too f-ing packed, i have NEVER, EVER seen it that bad. thank god i had a lottt of room to dance 3 feet from armin in the booth! HAHA yeah i'm a brat.
and silly you for wearing $200 shoes to a club...you should know better by now! :p |

"He plays what he wants to play" what the are you a mind reader okay yeah sure whatever that mean't , you sure act like some big shot but who been into the dance scene for less than a year. I think whats trying to be proven here is that him playing Mind Circus was just to make sure the DC crowd doesn't lose it and leave or get bored. His set consisted of many tracks that were big last year but overplayed. He has enough track his ASOT show to throw down which he didn't and Armin plays whats hot which is nothing new and intersting. I think he knows the DC crowd are not up to date  but then he saw Doombot and thought I play what I want to play. Hes even play some toon that house DJ's been playing :stongue: :stongue: :stongue:
His 6 hour set could have been more intersting |

He's been in the dance scene for a year hugh? Where are you getting your information from... oh wait... are you a mind reader???
I sure hope your not making your assumption based on his registration to TA... because that means nothing. |

Well firstly I'd like to say, your user name fits you well. And as Safrin said, if you are basing your claims on my TA registration, well you are wrong. And played Mind Circus to make sure people dont lose it and leave? Well, that is just damn funny. That was the largest crowd in that club I have ever seen and there were still tons at the end. You blind? |

and maybe armin shouldn't just listen to what is handed to him or the promo's that he receives and spend a little more time looking at smaller known labels and other genres to find some interesting tracks. if you look at ASOT it's the same labels over and over with a few exceptions. maybe he should really live up to his quote of "don't be a prisoner of your own style" and start looking for tracks on non-trance labels. the only reason why he's spinning domino is b/c he heard one of the minimal dj's play it at nature one - blah. goes to show that he's not really in tune to what's going on outside of trance music. |

I'm the one w/ the aviators on the right... and I don't recall pushing anybody at that show.
And, if you pissed me off enough for me to push you, I would remember it. |
