Bam bam bam! I'll need to talk to you soon about flights and what not. I'm still unsure of when I need to start booking stuff and buying tickets (i.e. Dance Valley). The Sensation tickets I'm worried about too b/c I hear they sell out in like an hour! The websites I found...that party flock one you gave me...it's all in dutch! I dunno what to do. AHhhhhhhhhhh! |

As soon as I find out how many are coming with us, then I will book the apartment for the time. As for flight, I probably won't book that until March. And for your Sensation Ticket, keep an eye on their website. You can buy them directly from there. Yes it will be in dutch, but in the bottom right hand corner last year there was a spot to click english so you can purchase it right from their site.
DV tickets don't generally go on sale until the end of February or the beginning of March. If you go to www.ticketbox.nl you will see the tickets there to purchase and in the past I have received them within 2 weeks of making the purchase. Again there is an option for english once you start in dutch :) |

One of the places we are gonna stay at depending on how many ppl there are will be the one that I stayed at last year. It is right in the centre of Amsterdam. The other is too but I am not sure exactly where. Everything is really close together Lisa, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Even from my apartment to Nada and Ali's hotel last year was only 3 stops on the tram and like 10 min walking distance. I go to www.stayamsterdam.com to find the places. They are roughly 1500 Euros for a week, but split with 4 ppl that is nothing. It is WAY cheaper than getting a hotel.
You won't wanna rent one of those places though for a month girl. They are FAR too expensive :(
You are better off to rent independantly from someone. Cale has some good websites for that too I believe. |

Thanks for the help. We were having a lot of trouble trying to find a place that was reasonably priced for 2 months...but now that we're only going to spend a month there we may have a few leads. It's still pretty early for us to look. I'm just getting anxious! |

As for Ibiza all the advice in this thread is wicked. You can use atm/debit machine cards without a problem in most places in Spain like Andrea mentioned. (I've had NO difficulties with this) but I do recommend taking more than one ATM as back up (along w a Visa) and mostly use travellers cheques to spend/use while over there.
This is the place I stayed at in San An, and I had a blast, like the reviews say it's far enough from the action that you can relax if you want (which I needed) but close enough that you can get to everything really quickly.

Lisa, it's not really early for you to start looking b/c you can get the best deals that way and organize yourself according to how you want...it all depends though. Myself, I ended up going to Ibiza last min from Barcelona...just found a hostel in Valencia and took a train over. |
