CSKA got a draw in Portugal, which is pretty strong and Russian teams isn't very good outside Russia.
Hamburg lost against Arsenal, but I think van Persie dived and got their GK sent off. Rosicky scored the second goal for Arse.
Manchester United won over Celtic, 3:2, Sure was a good game. I still hate Saha though..
Steaua won over Dynamo Kiev with 1:4 in Ukraine which is a fantastic result even though Dynamo hasn't impressed for a very long time. Still happy for the Romanians.
Copenhagen got a draw, but Benfica could've won the game if they had luck with the post in the end of the game. Fair result though, and not a spectacular game.
AC Milan won over AEK Athens with 3:0 and Gourcoff scored his first goal for Bilan. |

The shock today was Steaua hammering Dynamo, i knew the romanians had some quality but thought they were too unexperienced for the Champions League, guess not.
Disappointed at our lack of something extra to beat CSKA today, we dominated the game and had some chances but in the 2nd half impatience and anxiety took over the crowd and the players. This is a game we had to win, but it's only the 1st round.
I knew Benfica were on crap form so not surprised at all by their 0-0 in Denmark, I thought they would even lose. |

Not many good chances, but the tempo was great and ofcourse, Liverpool didn't allow anything. They were close to win this game though, Gerrard with the shot in the post. |
yeah I only watched the 2nd half, but omg did it suck, PSV wasnt even really trying out there it seemed and liverpool was like eh .The tempo was horrible in the 2nd half i saw.
now Celtic vs Man U was alot better and not just cause it was 3-2 |

The referee decided this game. It was no 100% penalty for Arsenal and the sent off was way too much.
We played very well in the first 10 minutes but after the sent off the game was ... |

Peter Fröjdfeldt ed Hamburg yesterday after van Persie's dive. It was nothing else than a yellow card to van Persie.
Unfortunately, Arsenal won the game after a bad call from the referee.. |

I don't think it was a penalty, but the ref by pointing to the spot had to show the red card to the keeper. It was a more than clear goal opportunity. |
