Overrated.

Minimal can't be overrated, then it wouldn't be minimal anymore.

Progressive minimal. That's what I produce.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.

Oh good, I wasn't the only one. :p

So with minimal "over", 'electro tech house' played out, trance "dead/dying" for the past three or four years easily, what is the in thing?

Maybe a doldrums of the old standby, house, before something else develops. This sort of situation is always fertile soil for something, you know, actually different.

I have to say I'm very pleased with the short shelf-life of these recent movements compared to progressive/trance's wholesale takeover in the 90s. It shows people still have some basic values that won't be slaughtered on the altar trendwhoring, and that we're not doomed to a decade of mindless bloopy-bloop nonsense.

My reaction to the prediction of minimal's demise: Yay!

No, it just shows that people have even less of an attention span.

Um, ok. Then why did you play Maurizio - M5 on the Essential Mix, smartypants?
