On King, two door down from The Still, same side of the street. Cant miss it, all you can eat sushi signs on the front in the windows and such.
Excellent food. Im pretty picky about my sushi, and I was sceptical the first time, but Lopi made me try it, and its for sure quality food. |

lol...I'm shocked Kitchener has enough ppl actually willing to venture into a sushi house ... lol ... my hometown is finally growing up lol
As for here, I must second the recommendation for Sushi on Bloor... nicely priced & typically with larger portions than most places,
I can't fathom going to this place & not getting an order of their Negima Yaki. I'd also recommend the Green Tea ice cream, delicious stuff really & a very nice way to take the edge off that "Whoa, I just ate waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much sushi, but it's sooooo good, & I just want more ..." feeling. |

I forget the name of the establishment but there is a sushi place on Church Street where the sushi chef is a bit of a rock-star... Totally awesome experience.
He cuts fish and prepares freestyle sushi ("chef's selection") and he just passes it over the glass sushi counter as people crowd around it like a velvet rope in front of a club.
The chef continues this just handing it out, making little sushi plates each with their own uniqueness.
I highly recommend this place. I'll post the name when I remember. |
I just remembered the name of this place: OMI (451 Church Street, 416.920.8991)
One would need reservations because it is a small restaruant. Make sure you sit at the bar and order the chef's (John Lee) special where he keeps feeding you until you can't eat anymore. Good sake as well. |

Man, if you're down there and it's like sushi, something is very, VERY wrong.
Also, I have never tried any bit of sushi that I like. |

Tried Sushi for the 1st time a few months ago, I don't like it. I tried a bunch of different types, but still don't like it.
People are always telling me how good it is, but....if someone could point me towards a GOOD quality place , id be up to try it, yet again. |
