Dude, just wait and see...

BIG SURPRISE!
Benjamin_D
Just got home from the show. it was a pretty good show pretty much the same thing he played in houston with the same opener. John digweed was in the booth with pvd tonight that was pretty cool. but overall kick ass trance show.

Guys, what time did he start spinning??? I got there at 11.50 all confident he wouldn't start before midnight... he never did that before, maybe except for Central Park, but not in the club! Just wondering how much did I miss...

I recognized 4 strings - take me away (mac zimms remix)

I remember Control Freak and PvD standards, like The Other Side and Time Of Our Lives among the others. As about For An Angel mix, I think it was the same as usually - just blended with the previous tune, sounded like it came out of nowhere - got it on my camera, but can't find it right now

He's been playing the Marc van Linden's remix for the last two years.

Same thing with Houston. As in my other review either he figured out how to mix harmonically by ear, or figured out how to do it automatically in Ableton.

Anyone going to clue us in on the surprise, or do we get to guess?

My money's on: "Slow Motion Music signs Paul van Dyk to label; new 2-disc album due February 2007." :D

I gotta give him that after Central Park he went ahead and got some new music, of the whole first hour; I don't remember him spinning any of those tunes in Central Park. I just realized I remember Second Sun - Sona, or maybe it was their gig in Brooklyn (Greenpoint) after Central Park... not sure, but I'm sure about that mash up of Motorcycle - "As the rush comes" with... btw what's the name of the other tune??? Going forward it sounded like the recent Essential Mix alot: Eteson & Spence - Atlantic, Baker & Nash - Lunar Eclipse. That new remix of "The Other Side" sounds really cool, it's kind of hard at the beginning, and then anthemic.
Just look through or download The Essential Mix from 9/10 - here's complete playlist which is at least 90% match with Blue's first hour:
Second Sun 'Sona' (Vandit)
Ottaviani & Nino 'Beyond Your Thoughts' (Vandit)
Beoem 'Silent Tears' (White Label)
Activa 'Airflow' (Liquid Recordings)
Unknown 'As The Rush Comes (Bootleg)' (White Label)
Eteson & Spence 'Atlantic' (White Label)
G Ottaviani 'Through Your Eyes' (White Label)
Baker & Nash 'Lunar Eclipse' (2 Play Records)
Paul Van Dyk 'The Other Side' (Positiva)
K&P 'The One's We Love' (White Label)
Mr Sam 'Polar Dance' (White Label)
Atmospherik 'Straight Flush' (White Label)
Paul Van Dyk 'For An Angel' (Vandit/Deviant)

Got some cool movies but they are too large, looking for some good codec to compress them, any suggestions?
