I think that certain things should be policed. There are a lot of problems with child porn, chat room pedophiles, hackers, bomb recipes, etc. I believe that we all have a right to freedom, but when someone's life is at risk, that is where the line needs to be drawn. HOWEVER, after the previous statements, I also think that people will still do what they want - internet or no internet. If someone wants to go and bomb a school - they will find a way to do it. It's just that they will have to work harder to find their information. We still have libraries. It's not like those will ever be policed.
The internet is not the actual problem - it's the people who choose to use it for illegal acts. |

They got computers to filter through sites looking for specific contents. Just like scanning through billions of emails for specific words. |
