So I have some homework for my math class. And it's in a packet. It's alot of questions, so I almost pissed myself.
ALL OF THE ANSWERS ARE IN THE BACK OF THE PAGE. What is the point? And these aren't just any answers, all the work is there too!
Am I in the retard math class or something? Or is this there for a reason? I am really confused, there is no work involved beside copying this stuff down. Maybe that is the point.
At least I get off easy. |

You should do the work yourself.

You are supposed to do the homework so that you can practice the formula and remember it. The reason they put the solutions in the back of the book is so that you can check your own work to be sure that you are doing it properly, and actually understand it.
If you just copy it, you wont learn anything, and later when there is a test that obviously doesn't have the answers provided, you will have no idea what the hell you're doing. |

I have found in many different classes that the answers to the work are often at the back of the book etc. This is very common in my experience.
It's not meant for you to copy it down but to help you review and auto correct yourself.
Feel free to copy it but do not be amazed if you aren't able to fully assimilate the material and end up failing the class when you take a test. |

You guys are totally right. I'm being serious. My brain agrees with you!
But since I am 1/8 native american, I have been graced with excellent photographic memory. My gut tells me to copy. ;) |

| I kinda cheated by doing this too when I was finishing school, but I still got more than 70% on the final exam. Must have done something right. :toothless |

Man, what the is that supposed to mean? Math is not my bag, you dig? I'm just going to skate by in this class, and then I'll be done. I'm much better at writing research papers, which all of my other classes are, (Poli sci, World civ, Writing comp) And by the way, the class I missed was a seminar class, attendence is worth more points, but I don't plan on missing anymore man, so cut me a break. |
