| put a drop of blackcurrent in it if you dont like it;),guinness is too easy to drink its like a meal in a glass and it has to poured in two parts otherwise its a waste |

Your forgetting the 2nd most important thing! Hold it the can at angle of about 30 degrees. so it creates a whirpool effect in the middle. |

Well this turned out to be quite an informative thread.
I drank it extremely fast last night, and I think that might've had something to do with it as well drinking straight out the bottle. Next time I'll try to savor each sip.
Out of curiousity, are there any stouts more bitter than Guinness? Like a drink so bitter, it makes Guinness look tame in comparison? (Just out of curiousity, I'm not trying them anytime soon. :D) What about sweeter? |

guinness warm > guinness cold. but that is the way it is with most good beers. I have actually heard that Guinness is supposed to be served around room temp. Also, I have found if it is not poured right it doesnt taste nearly as good.
it was out of a bottle :( So it wasnt a proper pint :( |

The stereotype is that whisky here is an old persons' drink. That's why I've not tried it...yet.
