Lets just go ahead and talk movies in general. Whats hot, whats coming, questions, answers, trailers, reviews, anything.

Rate the Last Movie You seen
So tonight I went out and saw The Black Dahlia with a friend. I'd rather have seen The Protector, but it was his turn to choose so I went with it. Biggest mistake I've made this year and he admits to it as well. The movie started off with a horrible attempt at character development along with horrible narraration, not to mention useless. The rest of the movie went into a confusing timeline of many characters that causes confusion, which is pretty hard to configure since your bored to death piecing the puzzle together. It was like the original Saw, except boring as . The trailer pins this movie as a murder mystery, but 3/4 of the film is about relationships and . Half way through the film, i just decided the girl was mutilated by aliens and i honestly didn't want to find the rest out (she got really ed up). I swear i heard a general consensus of sighs when "The End" appeared on the screen.
2/10 just cus i liked the audience reaction to the mouth cut ear-to-ear scene.

Most Anticipated Movie
Children of Men. The concept is so awesome and the trailer is so brilliantly constructed. It makes me just want to go out and get the book but I don't want to get spoiled.

favorite movie in your collection
Oldboy by far. I watch a lot of japanese films and thats my only international taste. So when I heard how awesome (and violent) Oldboy was, coming from Korea, i took a look and was blasted away by both the cinematography and the story. Its no Jet-Li Hero, but its original and stylish. I like being shocked and the Revelation act does not disappoint, seeing how the pieces to the puzzle were all in place throughout the movie while your watching it. I doubt i'll ever get tired of it.

There's a Dirty Sanchez one coming out too.

I still haven't seen The Wicker Man but some say it wasn't that great.

I look forward to the Borat film. Wonder if the'll make a Bruno one too. :p

That movie should have won the festival de Cannes' palme d'or instead of Farheineit 9/11.

Children of Men and The Fountain are what I'm looking forward. I want to see Borat as well, but not as much as the other two.
