these are my regrets that i have seen live:

Tiesto
Above and beyond
Rabbit in the moon
Dumonde
The new and ty disco styles of Bad boy Bill

list of Dj's i won't bother to see is much longer
Orko
James Holden
- I got into him, when he truly was king of the pixies. Now he is way to experimental for my liking. He used to have a soulful deep sound to his sets, but i just find it too hard to get lost in his stuff anymore because it is so abstract. When his old sound comes back, i love it, but it just too sparce.

Timo Maas
- He used to have a special sound, but now i just think he plays like too many other DJs. He does not sound as fun anymore.

Sander Kleinenberg
- Same reasons as Timo, except Sander used to have an epic/progressive feel; just listen to his first EM from 2001, and compare that to him now, nothing even close to what he was. This is why I try and hunt down his old sets.

Paul Van Dyk
- Just never enjoyed his DJ sets. I loved his old productions though, and he has some fantastic albums in his discography.

I have nothing any against any of the DJs I listed. For Holden, Timo and Sander, I got into them when they played very specific stuff which I loved. Now they have progressed and play stuff that does not match my tastes anymore. It is good to see that they are not staying the same, but I think I will pass more often than not.

Every DJ I like someone else will hate, and vice versa. Reading this thread hurts my brain.

It has not turned into petty name calling yet, so there is hope.

Did you make it out to see him on Saturday? I'm not a huge Tall Paul fan by any means but he completely destroyed the Guv.....it was one of those nights that made me actually start enjoying the music again.

I've heard the same thing from a number of people - I wish I would have gone...

He was good last time he came to KH - played some awesome Psy Trance.

Wow I'm surprised with most of your choices. Like Timo Maas, Steve Lawler...wow?

I guess it's because I haven't seen much of them..

The only time I've enjoyed a set of his, was the first time I saw him at Swirl in Mtl last year.
