I have been watching Mixed martial Arts for awhile now, so I got intersted that way. I am actually looking for an acadamey / school right now to join, but up until now I have just been teaching myself through watching fights, reading magazines and picking up a dvd here and there.
I live in South Orange NJ, you have any suggestions for places around here? I know Royler Gracie has a few schools in NJ, and Renzo has his in NYC, any others? Thanks! |

Speaking of which, I'd be happy to submit you every which way to Sunday for free if you want. let me know. :disbelief |
I'm interested. I hope there are some beautiful girls, but I don't have oil...
Ok, seriously, I'm interested.
Otherwise we can organize a meeting in Central Park. In France, with other guys and girls who like martial arts very much like me, we are used to meet sometimes in parks or forests to practice freely what we want (around martial arts and self defense) and to share our knowledge between us when there are some people who practice others martial arts. |

Being that I know the basics of judo and sambo (from classes when I was young), and that like you zack, I learn though watching MMA fights, as well as watching videos.
Im still trying to figure out how Nougera does his Anaconda Choke... Ive seen the tutorials, but its hard for me visualize the last part of the twist/turnover. |

that is a tough one, I know it well though from his fight with Heath Herring - amazing submission. I'm gonna rewatch the dvd tonight and play close attention to the lock and turnover. |
