Is it really necessary to call it 'junk' when nobody has even received a copy yet?
Though yes, Serato has already proven itself.

Serato. The money you'll save on not buying vinyl in the time from now till the time the M Audio junk is available is more than you'd save waiting for the M Audio junk. |

| Serato! I own it, and never looked back. I've been using it for over a year without a problem. It's freakin awesome! |

Yep I'm still bitter over some of their other junk that I have purchased. Do they have to make everything out of cheap plastic? |

| the guy who is selling it to me is some DJ from SF that plays on a radio show for 92.7 (bay area's edm station). He was telling me he didn't have the time to get used to it. Is it going to take a while to learn how to use? |

| I think you can even download the control CDs from their website if you're a registered owner of SSL. |

Well don't buy the cheap crap :)
I have an M-Audio Axion 25 that has a great feel to it...
And my Firewire Audiphile is a rugged metal box.
Some of their cheaper midi controllers definately are, well, cheap.
But in the case of Torq/Connective, the hardware just consists of an external soundcard, nothing more. It'll be the quality of the software that makes the difference. And M-Audio has put out a lot more software than, say, Rane :)

The audiophile firewire is a nice cheap external soundcard. I like mine.
I doubt it about the software but it doesn't really matter because it is all speculation so far. People need not count their chickens before the eggs have hatched. My two cents is that it will be on par with FS2 but not with Serato. Serato's Pitch n Time plugin is almost legendary so I doubt the synchroscience division puts more work into their software than Serato does. |

You say you don't want to count your chickens before they hatch, and then you make statements like those below...
Let's just wait and see.

| Well I said it was pure speculation. I let everyone know that, so they know I don't have the facts. You're the one saying M audio puts more work into their software than Serato like it is a pure fact even though the product isn't even on the market yet. |
