Having met Domi in person, I cant say anything bad about the guy, he played his heart out for this City, and stood up to anyone in the NHL to protect his teammates, guys like Sundin owe Domi. Its too bad the game has changed for guys like him - but for the better I think, its faster, more goals, and personally more exiting to watch. Still some of the fights Domi got into, wow, some classics, Domi vrs Ray, Brashear, etc.

seems like Toronto's performance was based on one player who's name was Tie Domi :rolleyes: Toronto will never be good, get used to it they make more then enough money as is

only in toronto can a player like domi become a star. thats why the leafs never win, 1967 and still counting....he sucked as a hockey player and now he will suck at tsn. like it wasnt enough that we have to put up with glen healey (ex looser leaf), now its domi too.
he does all his community staff front of a camera, when the camera turns off he is a jackass. he is a FAKE!! him and the leafs too....GO OILERS!!!

He actually isn't that bad, so I have heard. When Potvin was a Leaf, he was the most arrogant SOB. My brother who was like 10 at the time asked him for his autograph when my Aunt got him near the dressing rooms (she works at the ACC) and he totally just walked away from him and said something along the lines of not to bother him, he was too busy and didn't have time to sign anything.

PS. for the record, when I was 12 I asked my parents to play hockey cuz in Ayr at that time girls were allowed to play in those leagues and didn't HAVE to play ringette. My parents wouldn't let me.. lol :)

I really do notice that .. specially parents .. they all think they are experts .. telling us hockey players that we shoulda done this .. shoulda done that .. do this do that .. yet when they step on the ice we show them how its really done :P
I guess i just sit here and laugh at all the hockey experts that prolly never played much hockey or anything :P ...i've always learned that .. watch what you say when you dont know what your talking about :P

My mom does the same too. I used to annoy the fook out of her when I lived at home and would cheer for who she hated most. It was great! :toothless
I personally haven't been out to watch a live game at the ACC in a couple years though. I really need to get out to one this year...

yeah it was funny growing up for sure :)
I havent been to the ACC for a leafs get yet either .. somewhat hard to find tickets to go ... best you buy them now if you want a chance at going
