Um, am I missing something? Everytime I try to paste a screen cap, its gives me this pseudo paste that goes away if i close the movie program, and i cant resize or do anything to the paste. I may have to pass my turn.
EDIT - I also tried VLCs snapshot feature with the same effect |

thats bcus of the harwadre acceleration.
this is what u do:
open a random movie in vlc, then open up what movie u want to screen cap in a new instance of vlc, print screen, paste.

Thanks to jadt for pointing out that VLCs capture function saves an image, not generates to the clip board
