Just thought you might want to know, Matt: I'm about to face the same thing you did last year. I'm in Amsterdam right now, flying back on emergency leave. It doesn't look good at all for Parental Unit 2.
I think the anticipation sucks worse than the actual dying. We may end up comparing notes.:( |

Glad someone is.
Here's the staggering deficiency in communications with which I have to deal with. I found out two days ago that she was hospitalized and comatose whilst in Baghdad; I found out less than five minutes ago that she died at 2050 last night whilst in Amsterdam.
Anticipation is over. |
