Like I said in the other thread, I'll assume based on the responses I've seen that this was an isolated incident and that the management wants to rectify it. I will go back at some point soon and hope that the issues of last night are resolved; one way or another I'll post about my experiences. |

Lineup was in intense, but happens. The club for sure doesn't want it that way. They've had several successful nights in the past. The fact is Tribe is the hot spot on thursdays in MTL for not only the edm lovers but clubbers in general.

Clubs like Tribe need those big spenders and for everyone out there that doesnt know it yet....MONEY GIVES YOU CERTAIN PRIVELEGES. Its a fact.
If i'm bell mobility and i supply cell phones for all of bombardier and its 10000 employees and they're not getting super service, then they're out and they'll go somewhere else!
Same case for a guy that drops serious money in a club. high rollers get in EASY. Its the way the club scene is, ANYWHERE!!!!
i got lucky, a (really hot) bartender came outside and said anybody who buys a bottle gets in the club right away. I've been a digweed fan forever, since 97-98. Im a university student and im not one of those high rollers, but i looked at my buddy and said it, told the bartender that i would get a bottle. Basically ended up paying $270 to see john digweed and i have no regrets. for me, the way i am, i would rather take the hit on the wallet than to miss digweed. im on in trance addict for a reason :toothless
music was great, digweed was on fire. He's a really nice dude too. He told me that he LOVES ARIA and the vibe there btw :) BIGGY if your reading that, it's a sign ;)
dirtymontreal, dont hate man! no need to try to ruin a competitor's rep with booking agencies.
to all the peeps that are really pissed and are saying they'll never go back and are traching the club:
i hate to say this but the club will go on, will survive and will keep making good money. And good for them. we need a club bringing in solid names consistently. we all know the nduldge team is the king in town for that right now. It's not only good for the club, it's good for the city of Montreal's EDM scene and it's image globally. You guys all talk about how important the scene is...well this is just my way of looking at it.
i feel sorry for all those who didnt get in, keep your head up, it happens to everyone. it might even happen again. the club doesnt have it easy, its a difficult business to run.
one thing tho, those bouncers are IN s. no respect for people at all. the way they talk to you is ed up. worse than i've heard anywhere. these dudes might be huge and can kick peoples asses but are totally brainless. maybe if i bribe them with steroids next time i'll get in without paying lots of $$$$$$$$ lol

for some reason we passed by hypertribe at 1am, with a huge amount of people outside.
we see two wops and a girl that looks like a guy walking toward the club, i ask one of the wop where's Tribe Hyper Mega Super Aqua Club and he thinks for a second then answer, "thats very far from here man".
I think I never laughed that hard, my ribs still hurt. |

I've been watching Nip/Tuck these days, maybe ill get my boobs done before i go to this place?
Anyways, happens, i knew from the start that this place will be tough to get in (especially when a dj like Digweed spins). Its a damn supperclub and it works the same way as Time and the other places like it. |
