No... ;)
(edit: I'm serious, I really don't think anyone in Montreal even comes close to that amount of bookings...) |
you guys see this as clubs who do the bookings, in fact, its promoters who do the bookings and they chose the club where to put the dj.
I say Bal en Blanc management is currently owning Montreal and no one comes close. |

Its management like Bal en Blanc that make me skeptical about this city and their interests in bookings. I'm very, very tired of hearing about bookings that don't do it for me. I miss them days when I counted down the days to see a DJ i've always wanted to see, but now its more likely that we'll only get the bookings that can guarentee the big bucks (big names), there isnt much balls in that now is there?
The real parties are those of entrepreneurs, such as DiskHo and what he's doing. I also respect Ravemontreal for always trying to bring in new names. Its people like these that'll ensure the health of the scene, and that is exactly what the peoples want! |

Yet I get flamed for posting names of small time djs I wouldnt mind seeing in Montreal, because it would freshen things up a bit.

Seeing a name for the first time is the foundation of dance music culture. It must always be :)
It disappoints me that you'd get flamed. Listing smalltime bigtalents is exactly what we should be encouraging. |

There's one thing about listening to small time djs, its another to go out and support your scene by spending money.
This support seems to be lacking on TA, most ppl just bitch about not getting the djs they want. DJ VIBE comes and you all say you;ve never heard him bla bla bla so he must suck. Dont be a hipocrit like half of TA. |

Shouldn't be hard for Shiloh... they just have to hop on a plane from Vancouver. Some people must know of Shiloh by now.
If anyone wants too book Shiloh: [email protected]
One thing I have a huge list of djs I would love too see here in Montreal.
It would be interesting to see 16bit Lolitas, for sure would be an awesome night. |
