Does this man have the most amazing taste in house records or what?

I think I've listened to his JJJ set like a billion times in my car, and it NEVER fails to get me bobbing my head.

Respect.

Much respect. Saw him at a night here in LA not too long ago. I love the club because it's small, and generally caters to the LA locals but every now and then they get a pretty big name through there and it's ALWAYS a rocking time when they do.
Allied Nations
Saw him on the beach NYE 2004/2005 outside Lima, Peru.

He ing ROCKED IT! We partied that night til 3 PM!

I'm not really familiar with him as a DJ, but I thought his remix of Primal Scream's 'Some Velvet Morning' was one of the best tracks of 2004, highlighted when I heard Digweed play it May of that year. Sorry if this thread is exclusively about his DJing qualities but I thought it was worthy of mention all the same :p
Cobalt
How about production?

I was introduced to Luke via his JJJ set which turns out to be slammin.

Does anyone have any other Fair sets?

His SVM remix is one of my TOP tunes. I had quite a few good clubbing memories to that- Heard it on one of my BEST nights out ever. Saw Keoki in Lima in 2004, was ing INSANITY and one of the residents who rocks put it on during the warm up, i nearly went nuts.

Columbus is NOT a good city for House. :(

Luke is def. on my list of DJ's I NEED to see sometime soon. I imagine he'll probably rise a bit in the djmag rankings... perhaps that will get him some attention in markets (like Columbus) where name is everything.

I'm currently in one of the BEST cities in the world for house, but in Bombay, we barely got any DJs... I joined nikhil chinapa (he posts around TA sometimes) in his Submerge organization which when I joined was the ONLY house club night in the city, of 20 million people. Now it's better, but I can relate man, we got almost ZERO house acts.

i in' love Luke.

his JJJ set was fantastic, and these are probably my other 3 favorite sets from him:

Live at Justmusic FM 12-03-2005
Kiss 100 Guest Mix - Feb 2005
WMC Delta Heavy Boat Party - March 2004 (tagging with James Zabiela)

i've seen him live twice.

the first time was back in Feb of 2005 in Milwaukee, at a very small club with practically no one there. i didn't really know who he was at the time and i was there with about 8 friends so i spent more time socializing than dancing or listening...

but then i saw him again this year during WMC when he opened up for Sasha at Glass, and omfg... by far the sickest set i've ever heard from a DJ. i felt like that night but i was soooo in love with everything he was playing, and the way he was dropping basslines was insane! in fact, the track that he ended his set with was so good that it was stuck in my head forever after i left Miami, and i searched the internet for like 2 months until i found out what it was. it was a Gabi Newman edit of Sara Jorge - Beautiful World (M-Factor Mix) that was only available on vinyl and since i only spin CDs i e-mailed Gabi and bugged him to give it to me, lol.

if there's any one DJ out there that i idolize - it's him. in my eyes he is almost flawless when it comes to track selection, programming, and mixing. maybe it's just that i really dig the he plays, but i can never get enough of him.
