I've eaten at Matsuri before. Just warning you it's overpriced (luckily I didn't pay), but that shouldn't be a surprise since it's in the Maritime. The food was good, but there are plenty of other places with a better value for sushi and sake. The space is really big and unique though.
Definitely looking fwd to the party though! |

Dude, we been coming there for last two years already. The sushi place, the saki room, the lounge the ballroom are truelly great spots all packed into one experience and you dont have to hit 3 different spots in one night and stay in one venue all evening and even get a room upstairs when you ready to get freaky!
This hotel sort of reminds of clubs in Eastern Europe where you going into multi floor club where in one place you eat, party, play glow in the dark bawling, pool, go swiming on the private beach and pass out in the hotel room upstairs.
 |

I agree the Maritime is cool. It's just my opinion there are better ways/places to spend money i.e. an actual 5-star restaurant in NYC. I see your point about one stop shopping though. Everything you need is all in one place.

This'll be our first time seeing him, but I think he's probably a better entertainer than Fanciulli too. At least his sets seem more energetic. |

Well, I am just interested in what direction would he take his sound, because it will be my first time seeing him in USA, and we all know that DJs from outside USA tend to over-exadurate that, we, Americans, like our music hard and extra-banging. (Take PvD, ATB and couple of others for example) DJ Tiga is an excellent DJ cause he is true to Minimal Tech but yet he brings it up to full Techno sound with occasional Trance and Tribal House music making it very entertaining, so I am wondering what planet will he be on Thursday?
Anybody seen Tiga perform in the US. before and can offer some opinion? |
