Which COR TA's HAVE you met? (pg. 4)

DJ RJT - (although he wasn't the first c0r whore i met, he certainly is the most important)... i met RJT initially thru our local forum, and he introduced himself to me at a G&D show in Chicago in Feb 2005 but we didn't talk much since it was a loud club environment. after that we became really good friends and started going to events together. we went to Armin, then Ferry, and then we went to Oakenfold in Milwaukee together, and there were some major sparks flying. at the end of the night we were holding hands walking out of the venue, so we wouldn't lose each other in the crowd... and the front door of Tony's car was broken so we had to sit in the back seat together, where we proceeded to hold hands the entire way back home. i had a boyfriend at the time but i broke up with him 2 days after that, and the rest is history!
UWM - i think Bobby was the first c0r whore i met, and the first time that i met this partying robot was when he came to hang out with me in Milwaukee one weekend back in 2004. we got wasted and spent the night playing video games, posting on TA, web-camming/MSNing with random people, and watching a hilarious B-porno movie on HBO. oh we also listened to Dave Seaman - Live @ Tel Aviv, because Seaman was in Chicago that night and since we weren't there (i couldn't go 'cause i was still under 21) we figured we'd celebrate in Milwaukee! haha and i drank him under the table too!
glass - i met Tony initially because he worked with my ex-boyfriend, and my ex wanted me to meet him so that we could go to events together. we went downtown to meet Tony at a bar and i ended up talking to him for a long time about music and told him to sign up on the TA forums that night. he doesn't post in the c0r very often, but when he does it's hilarious, and he was a wonderful addition to the MWTA crew.
D-res - he came over to my house with his buddy Mark to get stoned. that was the night that i finally grasped the concept of beatmatching, so i spun for like 3 hours while him and RJT sat in my living room talking and chillin.
Ozoned12 - D-res's buddy Mark who came over to my house.
djarecebo - . the first night i met Garth was the first night RJT and i were in Miami for WMC '06. neither of us had met Garth before but he needed a place to crash that night, and we had an extra bed in our hotel room and we knew people who had met him, so we figured, alright it's cool. we all ended up doing a LOT of drugs together that night, partying like rockstars, and then sitting out on the balcony listening to Airdrawndagger and talking about what sort of random we were seeing in the clouds as the sun was rising.
charon - Garth's buddy who we partied with in Miami.
CleverName - another one of Garth's buddies who we partied with in Miami.
Slylee - met her in Miami during WMC '06! she invited a whole group of TAs over to pregame before Diggers, and we ended up leaving Diggers together and going back to our hotel room to chill.
dj_bas - met him for the first time at the Diggers pregame at Jamie's place, and we hung out lots while we were in Miami. i'll never forget still being awake at 8am and listening to Bas sing diva house tunes in our hotel room!
Ang _ ela 'ie - met her for the first time at my apartment when she drove up (from Chicago or Indiana or Ohio or wherever she was from at the time) to hang out with a bunch of TAs in Milwaukee for a Donald Glaude show back in March. she slept on my red couch and left her shoes at my place.
tribu - he came to our OMGWTFBBQ over the summer, which was a crazy ass time. we didn't get to talk much but it was great to just be like "whassup TREE-BOO!" and to just look over at him from time to time and seeing him having a good time. i was so glad that he made the long drive all the way from Ohio.
jonze234 - met him for the first time at a Dekay show in 2005. i didn't know what he looked like so he sent me a txt saying that he was wearing a red bandana. so i'm looking around and there's this ridiculous looking guy with a beard and a red bandana, and i'm like "wtf, seriously? that's jonze"? haha but before i had a chance to ask him, jonze comes over and introduces himself. he wasn't wearing a red bandana.
lucas ss (formerly DJ Lucas) - according to RJT, i met him at the Oakenfold show in 2005. i have no recollection of meeting him (although i was pretty faded so who knows), so i always think that the first time i met him was when he came to play a show up in Point with RJT and a few other TAs.
Boomer187 - met him in Las Vegas when i was out there for my 21st birthday! his birthday is 2 days after mine so we were celebrating together at ICE for Ferry Corsten.
MrSquirrel - an old school c0r whore, but i've attended many events with him and also partied with him in Vegas at the Ferry show.

Jennypie: met her on MSN through another friend, but we hit it off and have been close friends ever since.
Moral Hazard: I think we met at Steve Lawlers Hallowe'en party on the patio...both of us cracked out of our minds.
Stren: known him for a long long time. Friend of a friend who became a close friend.
Nrg2finit: holy in old skool...I think I was into trance back when I met this ******.
Vivid Boy: can't remember where/when; but it's been a while too. Always see him out at the more social TA gatherings. |
